All Purpose Rice Flour Blend

This is your basic all purpose flour blend. I don't use it too much, but it is nice for a savory No Roll Pie Crust.

2 cups rice flour (I prefer using brown rice flour)

2/3 cup potato starch
1/3 cup tapioca flour

Sift together all ingredients until well blended. Store in the refrigerator or freezer.

Hi! I'm new to GFCF cooking :) I love your blog and have stolen a lot of ideas from you, thanks so much! I was wondering if this blend works in bread? I am having no luck finding shorgum or millet flour but have gotten rice and tapioca. I really want to make some bread for my little guy so we can have some PB&J :)

Hi Brandy,
thanks for your kind comment. I tend not to use the all purpose rice blend for a pinch I'd do it and I think it'd be fine, but if you have access to chickpea flour, the High Protein Blend (rice and chickpea) works really great for sandwich bread. If you can't find that, go ahead and try the All Purpose Rice Blend and let me know how it works for you? Thanks and good luck!
